Sound familiar?

You’re ready to stop night feeds. Your toddler hasn’t had the memo.

You've loved feeding them, and you still do. But it's 2am again, and again at 4, and you can't remember the last time you slept through. Saying “no more milk” to a sleepy toddler is one of the hardest conversations in parenting, and it happens in the dark, half asleep, night after night.

01

The midnight negotiation

They want milk, you want sleep, and “not now” means very little to someone who’s barely awake.

02

The plaster trick

So many mums stick plasters over their nipples so “milk has a boo-boo”. It can work, but plaster glue on delicate skin, peeled off night after night, isn’t kind to you.

03

Nothing made for this

There are shelves of products for starting breastfeeding, and almost nothing to help you end it gently.

Meet Milk Sleeps

A soft patch that says no, kindly.

Milk Sleeps is a soft, disposable patch that covers your nipple and areola overnight. Its sleepy face gives your toddler something they can see and understand: milk is sleeping now. It's the same gentle message, every night, without you having to win the argument at 3am.

How it works

One sleepy story, four small steps.

Each kit holds 28 patches: one for each side, every night, for 14 nights.

  1. 1

    Tell the story

At bedtime, explain that milk gets tired too, and tonight it’s going to sleep. Keep it simple, keep it happy.

  2. 2

    Patch on, lights off

After the last feed, pop a patch on each side. It takes seconds, and there’s nothing to fiddle with in the dark.

  3. 3

    Shh, milk is sleeping

When they wake and ask, they can see it for themselves. Offer a cuddle, a sip of water, a sleepy song.

  4. 4

    Peel and celebrate

In the morning, peel, bin, and celebrate a brave night together. Then do it again, at your own pace.

Gentle by design

Kind to your toddler. Kind to you, too.

Go at your pace

Drop night feeds gradually. Your body adjusts best with time, and so does your little one.

Listen to your body

If your breasts feel full or uncomfortable, slow down and speak to your midwife, health visitor or a lactation consultant.

Bin it safely

Used patches go straight in the bin, well out of reach of little hands.

Our story

Made with love, by a mum who’s been there.

Hi, I’m Annelise.

I fed both of my children through more nights than I could ever count. I treasured those quiet hours. And with each of them, there came a moment when I knew it was time for the night feeds to end.

What nobody tells you is how hard it is to explain that to someone so small and so sleepy. I looked for something gentle, something made for this moment, and found nothing but advice to “be consistent” and mums swapping tips about sticking plasters on their nipples.

So I made Milk Sleeps: a soft patch, a simple story, and a kinder way to say “not now, my love”. It’s for the end of a chapter you’ll always treasure, and the start of more sleep for everyone.

With love, Annelise

When will my kit ship?

Your preorder reserves a kit from our founding batch, which is due to ship in spring 2027. We'll email you updates as it comes together, so you're never wondering.

What age is Milk Sleeps for?

Toddlers of roughly 12–36 months: old enough to understand a simple story like "milk is sleeping", and ready to let go of night feeds. Every child is different, and you know yours best.

Is there glue on my nipple?

No. The adhesive is only on the soft silicone border at the edge of the patch. The centre, which sits over your nipple, has no adhesive at all.

Which size do I need?

Standard (65 mm) suits most mums. Choose Large (80 mm) if you have a larger areola. If you're not sure, pick "Not sure yet" and we'll help you choose before your kit ships.

How many patches are in a kit?

28 patches: one for each side, every night, for 14 nights. Some little ones take to it quickly and some need longer, so go at your own pace.

What if my toddler doesn't take to it straight away?

Night weaning is a journey, not a switch, and some nights will be easier than others. Milk Sleeps makes the message clear and kind; your cuddles, patience and a sip of water do the rest.

Is Milk Sleeps a medical device?

No. Milk Sleeps doesn't treat or prevent anything. It's a gentle visual cue to help with night weaning. Cutting down feeds can leave you feeling full or uncomfortable, so drop night feeds gradually and speak to your midwife, health visitor or a lactation consultant if you have any concerns.

Is it safe around my toddler?

Bin each used patch straight away, out of reach of little hands, and keep unused patches stored safely, as you would plasters or medicines.

Do I pay anything today?

No. Reserving a founding kit is free. We'll email you as soon as it's ready to order, and you can decide then.
